MR. PARKER'S ART CLASS

In this projects students continue to refine their observational drawing skills by studying and drawing wooden mannequins and creating the illusion of depth by drawing overlapping figures to define the foreground, middleground, and background. In addition, students learn the basics of shading by considering light source, value, and the contours of the objects they are creating as they use chalk pastel to add color to their mannequins.
